I hardly put any make-up on during the day, but you just want to make something extra for the night.
So, for the day look I used a tiny bit of Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation. It is my favourite one, it is so good. I tried a couple of high street and high end foundations and I prefer this one. Benefit Stay Flawless is quite similar to this one. I like to blend it with my fingers, but sometimes I will do it with a Mac blending brush to have a more sheer look.
Then I will do my brows. I really like the strong brow look at the moment. I use a flat brush that I had for years and Mac Espresso eyeshadow. I sometimes add some pencil too so that the colour will not look too flat. For the moment, I am using KIKO one, it is more cool-toned than Espresso and together they make a perfect mix.
Now for concealing I love the Mac one in the tube, but as I have some acne scars and pigmentation now, I chose the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer. It has really good coverage. Plus, it is moisturising, so you can use it in the dryer areas, around your nose and under your eyes. It never underlines the dryer bits and make your skin looking smooth.
Then I'll just put some blush, this one is from &otherstories. It is perfect for winter as it is very lightweight. You can build it up if you want to and it does not look cakey at all. And this pretty peachy pink colour is just unique.
After that I just curl my lashes and it instantly makes me more awake. Finish with some lip balm, here I have the Madre Bees Pomegranate. I have recently re-fallen in love with it. It has all natural ingredients and works pretty well during the day.
For the night look I decided to concentrate on the eyes, as I always do. So, I put a bit of Mac Haux on my lids and blended it with this Real Techniques Duo Fiber brush. Then I did the winged eyeliner, the hardest part ever! Half an hour later, when I abandoned trying to make both sides look the same, I put some mascara on. This one is Maybelline Volume Express Waterproof, I really like it.
...and that is it!
